Privacy

What this site stores, and what it doesn’t.

The short version

There are no accounts, no sign-in and no forms. Nothing you do here is tied to you, nothing is sold or shared, and the one cookie the site sets records whether you want to see match results.

The cookie

One, named spoilers. It holds the word hidden or shown and nothing else, the setting behind the header toggle, so results stay masked or unmasked the next time you visit. It carries no identifier of any kind, is scoped to this site, and expires after a year.

Clearing it, or blocking cookies for this site, costs you the preference and nothing else.

The broadcast notice

Opening a broadcast shows a reminder that YouTube may resume where you left off. Choosing not to see it again stores a single flag, resume_notice_dismissed, in this browser. It holds the word true and nothing else, carries no identifier, and is never sent anywhere.

Clearing it brings the reminder back and costs nothing else.

Analytics

Two things are measured: how many times a page was viewed, and how quickly it loaded for the person viewing it. Both are counted by cookieless services. They set no identifier, cannot follow you to another site, and by default store nothing on your device.

If you would rather not be counted at all, this switch stops both. It works by storing a single flag, plausible_ignore, in this browser, which is checked before either script is allowed to send anything. Nothing is sent anywhere to arrange it. It is the one case where declining to be measured means storing something, and it applies to this browser only: another browser, another device, or a private window starts counted again.
